Colorado Blue Spruce Picea pungens glauca
Blue Spruce have a gorgeous gray-blue appearance. They are also known for their sharply pointed needles and strong branches for heavy ornaments. The needles can be a little too picky for little kids, but they may keep the cat away. Like all Christmas trees, they require a lot of fresh water. These trees are perfect if you like to hide gifts 'in' the tree.

Scotch, White, and Red Pine are traditional, long-needled trees favored by some folks. A soft appearance and the 'pine woods' scent are their best attributes.

Fraser Fir Abies fraseri
The Fraser [Fray-shur] Fir has good needle retention, is dark blue-green in color, and a nice scent. This is a very popular Christma tree choice. These pyramidal-shaped trees are similar to a Balsam.

Balsam Abies balsamea
Pyramidal and stately shaped evergreen. Terrific scent and softer needles. Loved by many cats, too.

Canaan Fir Abies balsamea var. phanerolepis
Canaan (pronounced Kah-non) is a newer Christmas tree favorite. First identified in the Canaan Valley in West Virginia, this tree is very similar to the Balsam and Fraser.

We have a nice variety of Fraser, Balsam and Canaan Firs and White Pine. Please read our "About Your Tree" page to help make it last and reduce risk of fire hazard.

In the Spring and Fall we offer "you choose, we dig" tree choices, up to 8 feet in height.
